BCS Press Release – ACORD ACE Proctor Services

June 24, 2015

Bulldog Consulting Services was thrilled to sponsor the Krush softball team again this year.  The team recently went to the NSA Fast Pitch World Series in Fishers, IN.  Throughout the week the Krush team showed their tenacity playing a total of 8 games in four days.  One of the Krush softball team members included Ashley (Sharon Miller’s daughter) who pitched 12 strikeouts in one game; and, 15 further strikeouts in a subsequent game.  Also contributing to the team’s success was McKenna (Megan Curtis’s daughter), playing centerfield and keeping the runs to a minimum with solid Krush softball 1fielding. NSA promotes commitment, professionalism, character, teamwork, respect, and  excellence.  These principles are supported by Bulldog and is one of the many reasons that they continue to sponsor the team.  These values were all exemplified by the team as they played hard, had fun and KRUSH’d the competition rising through the brackets to place 9th overall out of 65 teams!  The Bulldog family is proud of all the players for their accomplishment and can’t wait to see what they tackle next in the future.

On June 3rd, the Bulldog Consulting Services team was given an opportunity to provide valuable volunteer work for the local Easter Seals Arc foundation.  Their mission is to provide exceptional services to ensure all people with disabilities or special needs and their families have equal opportunities to live, learn, work and play in their communities. The Bulldog Consulting Services family has a special connection to the organization, as our very own Yolanda Austin’s son Dee is an active participant with the Transitions Program.  Dee was recently awarded “Participant of the Year” for his contributions to the program, which specializes in helping people with disabilities transition from high school to adulthood and assists them with acquiring valuable life skills while staying engaged in the community.

The local Northeast Indiana location in Fort Wayne, IN has a special outdoor garden and pathway where members gather to relax, enjoy the outdoors, and spend time with friends, family and each other.  The area was in need of landscaping care, and the Bulldog team spent the afternoon distributing and spreading fresh mulch to the entire area, all while learning more about the Easter Seals Arc program and enjoying some outdoor team building time.

In addition, the Bulldog Consulting Services organization donated new benches throughout the garden area to provide comfortable seating for those enjoying the gardens.
