Built from a dining room. Grown by doing good work.
Founder Note
Bulldog Consulting Services was founded in 2007… but the real story starts a year before that, in the middle of corporate America’s chaos.
I spent years climbing the ranks at a Fortune 500 company, navigating the turbulence of mergers and layoffs that defined that era. Rather than wait to see what would happen next, I made a bold decision. I left to pursue a sales career I had always dreamed of – and six months in, I knew it wasn’t right. But that moment of honesty, with myself and my family, turned out to be the most important pivot of my career and ultimately, my business.
I walked away without another job lined up. No safety net, no guaranteed next step. Just a clear-eyed decision that something had to change.
I started consulting, doing what came naturally: organizing work, driving projects, and partnering directly with the people doing the work to solve problems and improve how things got done. Word spread. Relationships grew. The work kept coming…. And in July of 2007, what had started organically became something official — Bulldog Consulting Services, LLC.
The name came naturally too. Early in my career, my energy, directness, and gritty determination had earned me the nickname “Bulldog” from a dear coworker. It stuck. And it perfectly captured how I approached every project: loyal, relentless, and committed to seeing things through.
What started in my living room grew into a talented team, deep customer relationships, and a long track record of successful projects. Today, over 95% of our work comes from referrals and repeat business – a number that says more about the company than any description could.
Through all of it, the soul of Bulldog hasn’t changed. It’s still built on the same thing it always was: a genuine passion for helping people, doing great work, and showing up for customers the way I always have — with everything we’ve got.
Bulldog Consulting Services was founded in 2007 by Sharon Miller, whose energy, direct approach, and determination earned her the nickname “Bulldog” early in her career. That name became the foundation of the company and reflects how we show up for our customers every day: loyal, thoughtful, trustworthy, and relentlessly committed to getting results.
At Bulldog Consulting Services, we help organizations successfully deliver their most important projects. Whether it’s leading complex initiatives, improving processes, or strengthening execution, our focus is simple. We make sure our customers cross the finish line and see real business value from their investments.
We partner closely with our customers, integrating into their teams and taking ownership of outcomes, not just tasks. Our approach is practical, collaborative, and results-driven. We don’t just manage projects. We help teams move forward with clarity, confidence, and momentum.
As our customers’ needs have evolved, so have we. Over the years, we have expanded our services to include corporate training and broader business consulting. Our team has continued to grow, and today we are at our largest size yet, allowing us to support more customers while intentionally maintaining our small boutique firm approach. We believe this allows us to stay agile, provide highly personalized service, and build lasting relationships with the customers we serve.
In 2025, we expanded our focus into the government sector, bringing our project management expertise and training capabilities to public organizations. In 2026, we were awarded our GSA Schedule and are actively pursuing opportunities to support government agencies in delivering projects more effectively and improving the services they provide.
We work with a wide range of customers, from Fortune 500 companies to small businesses and public sector organizations, but our goal remains the same. We measure our success by the success of our customers. When projects are delivered well, relationships strengthen.
Our goal is simple…. Deliver such exceptional value that our customers choose to work with us again and again.
The Bulldog Commandments
Always do the right thing.
Even when it’s harder, even when no one’s watching.
We choose what’s right over what’s easy — for our customers, our team, and ourselves.
Treat others the way you want to be treated — and the way they want to be treated.
Respect goes both ways.
We listen, we adapt, and we meet people where they are.
Strive for excellence in every action and outcome.
Good enough isn’t good enough.
We hold ourselves to a higher standard on every project, every deliverable, every interaction.
Bring passion, persistence, and integrity to our projects and customers.
We care about the work. We don’t quit when it gets hard. And we do it the right way, every time.
Go the extra mile to ensure our customer’s needs are met.
We don’t stop at the scope line.
If something needs doing, we step up — because their success is our success.
Be creative, innovative, and adaptive.
No two projects are the same.
We think on our feet, find new solutions, and adapt to whatever the situation demands.
Communicate, connect, commit, and care.
Say what needs to be said.
Build real relationships. Follow through on every promise. And genuinely care about the outcome.
Demonstrate strong ethics and values — be honest, open, ethical, and fair.
We tell the truth, even when it’s uncomfortable.
Transparency builds trust, and trust is everything in this business.
Be the best team member.
Show up for your team. Share what you know. Pick up what needs picking up. Nobody succeeds alone.
Work hard, play hard!
We give everything to the work — and we make sure to enjoy the ride.
Life’s too short for one without the other.
